Budapest City Tour: About Fishermen and Revolutions
We start our journey heading to the Fisherman’s Bastion in the castle district on hilly Buda which will take your breath away together with the ancient coronation church, St. Matthias. Then we head to the ever- bustling Pest where we ride through the Andrassy Boulevard, home of designer shops and arrive at the historic Heroes Square to learn more about the origins of the Hungarians, and have a chance to take photos of our fairytale castle standing nearby-Vajdahunyad. Riding back to the city, the landmark of Budapest, the Parliament building, awaits us, and stories of the 1956 revolution unfold here.
Continuing our journey, the last stop is the Jewish district which happens to be the most popular gastro-party district as well. We finish our tour in front of the Great Synagogue, the second biggest one in the World.
This Budapest City Tour includes short stops and a bit of walking in the city, giving a chance for breathtaking photos and a real feel of the 1000 years old but still young capital.
